The political poster is experiencing a revival: in just a few years, the "Mut your Wut" poster festival has acquired international relevance, resulting in over 2,500 submissions from 54 countries every year. It is a showcase for committed creatives who express their anger about grievances with bold, striking messages - sometimes despite censorship in their home countries. Thirty award-winning posters are displayed in public spaces and generate discussion and attention precisely where political change usually begins: on the street.

About my poster:
The Eurocentric-based beauty filters on e.g. Instagram or TikTok not only help to clear skin and digital make-up, but also "correct" non-European features into small noses, big eyes, high cheekbones and even an automated lighter skin tone. This not only perpetuates the Eurocentric bias of globally accepted beauty ideals, but digitally retouches diversity away.
